The Triplett CL140 Total Residual Chlorine Pen measures total chlorine including free chlorine, chloramines, hypochlorous acid and hypochlorite ion. Typical applications include measurements of discharge water from water treatment plants, public drinking water supplies and cooling towers, and measurement of disinfectant properties in swimming pools and cooling water applications. The meter simultaneously displays total chlorine (ppm) and temperature, and has analog bargraph for viewing trends. It features a flat surface electrode with 1- or 2-point calibration. A Renew warning function indicates that the electrode needs replacing. Built-in memory can store/recall up to 25 numbered readings. Auto power off (10 minutes) with disable conserves battery life. Waterproof (IP57). Includes Chlorine electrode, protective sensor cap, sample cup with cap, (4) CR2032 batteries, set of reagents for 50 tests, and neck strap.
