About MICRO
For more than 20 years, MICRO has been committed to helping mold professionals gain the knowledge, confidence, and credentials they need to succeed. We believe professional training should be practical, accessible, and built around the realities of doing the job—not simply passing a test. Whether someone is entering the industry, adding a new service to an existing company, or strengthening the skills of their team, our goal is to help them become better professionals and build stronger businesses.
As a veteran-owned company, the values of service, integrity, responsibility, and doing the job right are deeply important to us and to the way we operate MICRO. That’s also why our commitment doesn’t end when someone completes a course. We continue supporting our graduates and members with continuing education, safety training, business resources, equipment benefits, and opportunities to connect with consumers through FindAMoldExpert.com. At MICRO, we’re not interested in simply issuing certificates—we want to help develop knowledgeable, ethical professionals who represent the mold industry well and earn the trust of the people they serve.
A Message From Our Founder
My military service taught me the importance of discipline, integrity, responsibility, and following through on a commitment. Those values stayed with me long after my time in uniform, and they have played an important role in how I’ve built and operated MICRO.
I also believe strongly in the importance of the industry we serve. Mold and moisture problems affect homes and buildings throughout America, and exposure to damp and moldy environments can present significant health concerns, particularly for people who are sensitive or vulnerable. When a family discovers a mold problem in their home, they need knowledgeable professionals they can trust to properly assess the situation, communicate clearly, and help them understand the appropriate next steps. The work our industry performs matters, not just to buildings and property, but to the people who live and work inside them.
That responsibility is one of the reasons I started MICRO. I wanted to create something that went beyond simply providing a course and issuing a certificate. Our goal is to help people develop real knowledge, become confident and ethical professionals, and have the tools and resources to build successful businesses while providing an important service to their communities.
I’m proud of the thousands of professionals who have chosen MICRO for their training, but I’m even more proud of what they go on to do with that education. Every well-trained professional who enters a home or business has an opportunity to make a difference, to provide answers, help people make informed decisions, and bring professionalism and integrity to an industry that people depend on.
For me, MICRO has always been about helping people move forward. Whether you’re just entering the mold industry or have been doing this work for years, we’re here to help you learn, grow, build your business, and represent this profession with the standards it deserves.
