Kidde 442020 Radon Detection Kit

Radon is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer, causing 15,000 to 21,000 deaths annually and has been identified in every state. Radon is a colorless, odorless gas that is a decay product of uranium and occurs naturally in soil and rock. It is estimated that 6% of homes in the United States are estimated to have elevated levels of radon. Radon testing is recommended by the EPA and by many state governments. Further, radon testing can be a requirement for property transfer or for mortgage approval on a planned property purchase.
